South Valley Ear, Nose & Throat is looking for a full-time medical assistant to work alongside our providers. Applicant should possess strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, be a quick learner, be organized, have attention to detail, be a self-starter and able to work independently. They should employ the full range of Medical Assisting skills including hands-on patient care; equipment setup and ordering; preparing cultures and biopsies to be sent to the lab, gathering and entering patient information in EMR, assisting with in-office procedures; patient callbacks and messaging, as well as administrative duties including answering phones, greeting patients, ordering labs and imaging, refilling prescriptions, sending referrals and scanning medical records.
Previous experience in a clinic or hospital setting is required. We offer competitive pay, which is dependent upon experience and certification. Benefits include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays, and 401k.
The work schedule is full-time, Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 5:30 pm. The provider travels between 3 locations based on the day of the week, the Medical Assistant is expected to travel to these locations to assist the provider.
